John Kenneth Galbraith

John Kenneth Galbraith is a leading American economist, with a past as a US ambassador to India, involvement in US politics on the liberal side and a large popular authorship. In addition to books on economics, he has written a large number of essays and articles on numerous subjects, published in collections.

His style makes him very readable to the general public, no knowledge of mathematics is necessary to read him.
